Homelessness, poverty top city residents' concerns
Transportation, crime also priorities, poll finds

The top priorities for Vancouver residents are the intertwined issues of homelessness, poverty and the lack of affordable housing, according to a new Ipsos Reid poll to be presented to city council next week.
The poll, however, shows Vancouver businesses believe the greatest priority should be transportation-related initiatives to improve traffic flow and parking.
The combined survey results suggest the city should address three top concerns: social issues, transportation and crime.
