Open house today aims at ending 'misconceptions' about treatment facility

RICHMOND - A controversial residential recovery proposal at 8180 Ash St. is dividing neighbours.
Some residents welcome the idea, but others are protesting against it and claim people are moving out of the area near the proposed site for Turning Point Recovery Society's 32-bed addiction treatment facility.
"The number of 'for sale' signs going up in this neighbourhood is ridiculous," said Ash Street resident Philip Parker.
