Sleep Out 2007

Helping Spirit Lodge Society is a widely recognized leader and innovator in the provision of social services to Vancouver’s thousands of disadvantaged people. Reclaiming Our Spirit is one of its many successful programs, supporting individuals and families of many faiths and cultures with appropriate interventions and activities, thereby providing a hand up, not a hand out.

Every year Reclaiming Our Spirit embarks on a campaign to raise awareness, compassion and action around the issue of homelessness in Vancouver - the Labour Of Love Program. By cultivating relationships within the greater society, its aim is to bring individuals, families, schools, companies and government together in order to effect lasting, positive change for those who are living with disadvantage. Great value is placed on the community, its input, and the lessons learned as a result.

Please supports this year’s Labour of Love Program and help make a difference in lives of others less fortunate. Give up your bed for just one night to participate in this sleepover event. There will be awareness building contests and activities such as shelter building, with prizes and Certificates of Participation for everyone. Put yourself in their shoes – experience just one night of homelessness.
