This Monday Night

Streams of Justice will host an exciting evening this coming Monday (Feb 26th). We are doing our first public action at 6:15 pm, followed by our regular Monday evening gathering.

For this coming monday night I have invited Chris Rooney to speak to us about the Catholic Worker movement that has been active on this continent for many decades. This movement has some definite affinity to ours with its emphasis on hospitality and justice. Chris will talk about the movement's history, its philosophy and theology, and say a little about the Catholic Worker community here in Vancouver. He will also share something of his own vision for expanding the Van CW, making and co-editing the Christian Radical, and to share some of his experiences in the movement so far. Chris is a singer as well, and will perform a few of his songs for us. This will be a rich time to connect with other christian movements for justice, and to learn from their experience.
